Bribe Tokens guarantee Land Certificates for specific zones. Connect your City with Emerald City to get a chance to win a Bribe Tokens.
When is bribery acceptable, you ask? When everyone participating gets an equal chance to do it. Well, at least that’s how things work in our GangstaVerse.
We’re launching the Land Certificate minting for the Emerald City. The Land Certificates can be used to claim a block of area in the Emerald City. When minting the Land Certificates, you will receive a random zone, i.e., Government area, Residential area, Commercial area, Vacation town, Airport, Industrial zone, Health zone, etc.
But now, you have the chance to “bribe” the system to ensure you get a specific zone.
About Bribe Tokens
Bribe is a token (IRC-31) that can be used with CROWN to mint a Land Certificate. The Bribe token will guarantee that the land certificate being minted will belong to a specific zone.
For eg. if you mint Land Certificate NFT with CROWN and Bribe Token (Airport), you will receive a certificate for the Airport area. The certificate will guarantee an airport area when we launch The Emerald City.
How can you get these Bribe Tokens?
The Bribe Tokens are part of our marketing drive to connect your City with the Emerald City. We will run several campaigns where we will ask the community to share about their City, and in return, they will receive a Bribe NFT. There will be a limited number of Bribe Tokens for each zone.
First Task:
Take a picture/video of an interesting area in your City and tell us a story/historical fact about it. It could be a real fact or an imaginary one. The submissions could be of an airport, a café, or even a bridge, any area that you would want to see in the Emerald City; just be creative!
IMPORTANT: Hold a small piece of paper with your identity (Twitter username or Discord ID) & the text “gangstabet.io”.
After reviewing them, we will airdrop the Bribe Tokens based on the area.
You can share these pictures/videos with the story in a Medium article, a tweet (or a series of tweets), or on our GangstaBet official discord server (#tales-of-cities).

How will the Bribe Tokens be used?
The only utility of the Bribe Tokens is to receive a specific zone when minting Land Certificates. There are no other utilities of the tokens.
When will you airdrop Bribe Tokens?
The Bribe Tokens will be airdropped as early as the end of the week (July 16th, 2022).
Can we buy Bribe Tokens?
No, they can be received only by sharing tales about your city life. There is no primary sale of the tokens.
Can Bribe tokens be traded in the secondary market?
Yes, they can be traded in the secondary marketplace — Craft marketplace.
How many Bribe tokens will there ever be?
1/3rd of land can be bought by CROWN tokens (total land — 11,111) to receive land certificates. Only a small percentage can be bribed to receive a specific zone. Hence, a few hundred Bribe tokens will be ever available before the mint.
How long do I have to get the Bribe Tokens?
Bribe NFTs will be distributed until Land Certificate mint. The scheduled date for Land Certificate minting is early August 2022 (also depends on smart contract audit). Hence, Bribe Tokens will be airdropped before the mint date.
What’s the limit per wallet or person?
There is no limit. You can enter the campaigns as many times as possible. Eg. for the first task, you can enter as many photos or videos as you want. There is absolutely no limit.
