What are Golden Keys?
Golden Keys are the assets that will be needed to mint Gen0 Civilians in Emerald City.
There are 2000 Golden Keys which will be used with GangstaBets to create the 2000 Gen0 Civilians in Emerald City, bringing the city to life.
Bridging to Sui
Around 1100 Golden Keys have been minted on the ICON blockchain. We will be migrating these Keys to Sui. Once the migration is complete, the remaining will be available for auction on Sui (which will be communicated through our website/ X/ Discord).
Holders can use this bridge to migrate their keys until March 17, 2025. Should anyone miss migrating during this time, they can still migrate their keys by burning keys on ICON, submitting the txn hash in a Discord support ticket, and getting them minted on Sui. After the 6 months, all remaining keys will be burned and minted in the admin wallet. If the original holder wants to claim them on Sui, they can submit a support ticket on Discord.
Bridging Golden Keys from ICON to SUI
You will need:
- Your wallet on ICON containing Golden Keys
- A Sui wallet you would like to bridge the Golden Keys to (Here is a blog that may help you pick a Sui wallet, if necessary: https://blog.sui.io/5-most-popular-wallets/)
Steps to bridge Golden Keys from ICON to Sui:
2. Connect your ICON wallet that contains the Golden Keys you would like to bridge.
3. Enter the number of Golden Keys you need to bridge.
4. Enter your Sui address to which you want to send the Golden Keys and click “Bridge” to start the bridging process.
That’s all! If the bridge is successful, you should get a pop-up that takes you to the new Emerald City website (https://emeraldcity.xyz/) where you can connect your wallet to view the count of your Golden Keys or View your Golden Keys on Tradeport (https://www.tradeport.xyz/).
